Introduction to Philscom

Philscom is engaged in the research, development, construction, maintenance, and upgrading services of a ship’s digital and intelligent platform, which provides access to data related to the ship’s engine room, fuel consumption, deck monitoring, and navigation equipment. Through an integrated system, shipowners can query and receive analysis of all the information and data on one platform. The system can give suggestions and early warnings, ensuring a smarter, more efficient, economical, and cost-effective ship. 


Philscom, founded in 2012 in Shanghai, has been dedicated to digital system integration. Through digital storage, analysis, and query of all the data of the ship from construction to operation period, the ship’s full digital management of its entire life cycle can be achieved. Thanks to various sub-systems of varied types that are independently researched and developed, Philscom is proud to provide customers with professional, complete, and customized digital system integration and management services.


Philscom has a technical service team focusing on ship automation, informatization, digitalization, and intelligent technical solutions. There are more than 20 members in Philscom’s technical R&D team, and among them, members with doctorate and master's degrees are a vital force. With their contributions, Philscom has reached the international advanced level in sensor application, module development, system integration, big data algorithm, and interface design. There are not only experienced workers in ship automatic equipment R&D/manufacturing/service but also technical experts in informatization management, IOT technology, big data algorithms, digital twins, energy saving, and applications of energy efficiency. Moreover, Philscom also cooperates with Wuhan University of Science and Technology, Southeast University, Shanghai University, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Jiangsu Maritime Academy, and other universities in industry-academia research.
