Ship 360° Collision Avoidance Alarm System

①System Introduction:

l  Intelligent Collision Avoidance System for Offshore Vessels is an auxiliary decision-making system based on multi-sensor fusion technology, aiming to improve the navigational safety of offshore vessels and reduce the occurrence of collision accidents caused by human factors.

l  The system adopts advanced computer vision and data fusion algorithms to sense and analyze the environment around the ship in all-weather and all-round. By integrating multi-source sensor data collected from visible light sensors, infrared thermal imaging sensors, AIS, navigational radars, millimeter-wave radars, laser radars, etc., the system can accurately identify the surrounding ships and obstacles, and display the fused information in real time on the smart screen, providing intuitive and reliable collision avoidance decision-making support for the crew.

②Advantages:

l  Anti-collision safety warning: through millimeter-wave radar ranging, the system realizes visualized warning within the radar range, and reduces the risks of collision and grounding in the process of vessel shipping.

l  Mooring Safety Assistance: With millimeter wave radar’s assistant detection in the blind zones, the system contributes to intelligent mooring of vessels and helps to avoid collision.

l   Load Measurement Early Warning: Millimeter-wave radar can penetrate haze and rain and snow. Its horizontal detection and vertical detection complement each other to effectively carry out early warning of the load measurement, realizing height compensation for anti-collision, and automatic berthing.

l    Assisted berthing: The Millimeter-wave radar carrier is known for its high frequency, high spatial resolution and imaging capability, high system sensitivity, and low false alarm rate.
